Jr. Web Developer

The Jr. Web Developer will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and CRM systems for Ensemble Digital Media. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and React who are eager to enhance their skills, contribute to team projects, and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Experience with WordPress is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain responsive web applications and CRM systems.
Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
Conduct testing and debugging to ensure system reliability and performance.
Integrate third-party APIs and tools into web and CRM platforms.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Basic to intermediate knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and React.
Understanding of front-end and back-end development principles.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
Effective communication skills and willingness to receive and apply feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with WordPress development.
Familiarity with CRM development or customization
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL).
Experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio Code.
Awareness of responsive design and UI/UX best practices.

Work Environment

This role operates in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where adaptability and discipline are key. Team members are expected to collaborate effectively, meet project deadlines, and maintain a results-oriented approach to problem-solving.

The position requires a 40-hour work week, with a standard schedule of 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours may be arranged at the discretion of the team lead. All working hours are monitored and recorded through an approved time-tracking tool for accountability and performance management.
